In 1974, the male choir “Vytis” was formed by the well-known choirmaster Adolfas Krogertas and like-minded people. It is a non-professional group. Many of the choristers were winners of competitions in Arezzo (Italy). The choir quickly became the absolute best amateur art group in Lithuania. The choir participated in international competitions and festivals in Spain, Switzerland and the United States. It received the highest award at the Orlando di Lasso competition in Rome and won a prize in Limburg – Lindenholzhausen (Germany).<\/p>\n

Since 2005, the choir, whose members are united by patriotism, the art of song and great leisure, has been participating in Lithuanian cultural events, festivals and song festivals.<\/p>\n
