Since 1992, the director of the choir has become Regina Maleckait\u0117.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia','serif'; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia','serif'; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The choir consists of five independent groups: first, middle, young, main concert (from grade 5 to 12) and youth (mixed, student ages) choruses. More than 150 children from different Vilnius schools take part in the classes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia','serif'; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia','serif'; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Most of the repertoire consists of works by contemporary Lithuanian composers specifically written for children&#8217;s choir. The collective also performs classical pieces of foreign composers and continues the tradition of Lithuanian Song Festival, which is protected by UNESCO.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia','serif'; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The choir often performs in Lithuania and abroad, sings in churches, participates in various international festivals.
