Activities

Vilnius Cultural Center (VCC) – a multifunctional cultural institution, which implements various art and cultural projects in the capital: festivals, concert events, organizes public holidays, exhibitions and social actions.

The list of Vilnius Culture Center includes many successfully implemented cultural projects. These are some of the biggest festivals of Vilnius – “The Christmas in Vilnius”, “Vilnius Light Festival”, “Vilnius Days“ and many public holidays in the city as well.

The main activities of center:

• Organization of major city holidays;
• Implementation of various social and cultural projects, and their publicity campaigns;
• Dissemination of professional art;
• Active participation in the cultural projects of Vilnius city municipality and partners of foreign cities;
• The promotion of intercultural dialogue, the international and inter-institutional cooperation;
• Creation of favorable conditions for 21 communities art groups to develop creative activities and dissemination of their activities;
• Provision of VCC spaces for events (paid service);
• Provision of VCC premises for residents.

• Accordion orchestra “Consona”;

Since 2010 Vilnius Cultural Center belongs to the association of Lithuanian Cultural Centers.

The founder of Vilnius Cultural Center is Vilnius city municipality.
